Description
Production Process
Melamine faced particle board is made by bonding a decorative melamine-impregnated paper onto raw particle board. First, the particle board is produced by mixing wood chips and resin, then pressing it into sheets. Separately, melamine paper is soaked in melamine resin and dried. The melamine paper is then placed on both sides of the board and pressed under high heat and pressure using a short-cycle press. This process fuses the decorative surface to the board, creating a hard, durable, and moisture-resistant finish. After pressing, the boards are cooled, trimmed, and quality-checked for thickness, surface quality, and bonding strength.
